Privacy policy

Darts Tapout is an app for learning darts checkouts. It is made in New Zealand. This page explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: the app does not collect any personal information about you.

What the app does not do

• No accounts, sign-ins or passwords.
• No advertising.
• No analytics or tracking of what you do in the app.
• No access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location.
• Nothing about you is sold or shared with anyone.

What stays on your device

Your practice progress and your settings, such as sound choices, are saved on your phone or tablet only. They are never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.

App updates

When the app opens, it checks for a newer version through Expo, the service used to deliver updates. That check sends only technical details needed to deliver the right update: the app version, the type of device, and a random number that identifies the installation, not you. It does not include your name, email or anything you have done in the app.

Buying the app

Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment card or bank details. Their own privacy policies cover the purchase.

Children

Darts Tapout is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
